4th Annual Indoor Volleyball Tournament

The Karen Shank Foundation is proud to hold its 4th annual indoor volleyball tournament this fall! There are two levels of play, recreational and intermediate, with great prizes for the top teams and fundraisers.

All proceeds will go to the Halton Womens Place, a shelter for women and children in the Halton region.

Last year's event was a huge success, raising $7000 for Halton Womens Place! The pictures from last years event are online, take a look!

With your help, we can reach our $50,000 milestone with this event! We only need to raise $7000, so please get those pledges going! Remember you get half your registration fee back if you raise your fees in pledges!

Details

The 4th annual Karen Shank Foundation indoor volleyball tournament will be held on Saturday October 25th. Two divisions are available, recreational and intermediate 6's.

*Collect pledges equal to the registration fee and half the fee will be refunded!

Lots of prizes to be won! Prizes are given to the winning teams in each division, top pledge raisers and there are plenty of terrific raffle prizes!

Food Drive
Due to popular demand from our summer tournament, we're also doing a food drive with this event! Collect items from this list and be entered into a draw for wonderful prizes!

About the Tournament

Halton Women's Place

The Karen Shank Foundation is a Safe Shelter Sponsor for the Halton Women's Place. The total donation to Halton Women's Place in 2006 was $6,700, raised through a beach volleyball tournament and a women's self defense course in 2006.

The Karen Shank Foundation strives to raise awareness of the many needs in our local communities and to promote participation through volunteering in our day-to-day lives. To this end the Karen Shank Foundation has organized a number of events including volunteer days, social nights and most notably charity volleyball tournaments.
