Karen Shank Foundation

The Karen Shank Foundation is always in need of volunteers. It would be impossible to raise money and awareness for the charities we support without people like you who volunteer their time.

Whether you can spare a few hours, or wish to become a regular, your time will be appreciated. We require volunteers for our regular summer and fall volleyball events, and also to assist with our community events.

We are looking for people who can help with the following:

• Writing skills for public communications via newsletters
• Bookkeeping skills (for events, or our Foundation)
• Computer skills for database development, email and website management
• Creativeness for flyer, brochure and advertising designs
• Organizational skills for event planning
• People skills for prize and donation soliciting
• Event preparation, setup and takedown

The Karen Shank Foundation is in need of services and supplies, we greatly appreciate any donations we can use to run our Foundation. We are particularly in need of the following:

• General office supplies
• Printing needs for flyers and brochures
• Prizes for our events (gift cards, retail items, non-perishable food items)
• Advertising for our Foundation and events
• Services such as photography, publicity, masseuse, corporate sponsorship, etc.
• Reward program donations such as Air Miles, Shoppers Optimum, etc.
